January, 2014 has arrived. Our schedule at Good Shepherd is a bit less hectic, but there are some meetings to report. The Sunday services continue at 9:30 am with Holy Eucharist on January 5th, January 12th and January 26th. Morning Prayer is on the third Sunday, January 19th.
The annual meeting will take place after worship on Sunday, the 19th, during coffee hour. All are invited to get their coffee and join us for the meeting.
Daughters of the King [DOK] will meet on Monday, January 20th, at 1:00 in the afternoon. This is a departure from our regular evening meeting time, and it is hoped that other women of the congregation will be able to join us at this time.
Our Ministry Developer and her husband, the Rev. Sally Boyd and Tim Boyd, will come to Good Shepherd on Thursday, January 16th. They join us for a soup supper, some teaching time, and Compline. Sally will be sharing some of the changes that are now in place for the work of the Ministry Developers. We look forward to seeing them then.
Holy Eucharist is normally scheduled on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 am and Bible study follows at 9:00. Bible study is based on the upcoming Sunday lectionary.
