Two upcoming events at Good Shepherd

This Thursday, May 22nd, a potluck supper is planned.  Our Ministry Developer, the Rev. Sally Boyd, will join us at 5:30 for a meal and fellowship together.  Sally will show another DVD in the series about the Episcopal Church - these DVDs are most interesting and certainly good for reminders of what we know about the larger church.  Our evening will close with the Compline liturgy.

This Sunday, May 25th, our resident cowboy poet - Hap Stuart - will entertain us with some of his new poetry.  This will occur during coffee hour in the parish hall.  Hap and his wife, Ruby, have recently returned from their 'snow bird' time in Nevada.  The church service of Holy Eucharist will begin at 9:30 and coffee hour will follow.

The month of May at Good Shepherd in Sundance, WY

Already we have moved into the month of May - the church season of Easter.  This month looks to be a bit less busy.
We do continue with our Wednesday morning Holy Eucharist at 8:30 and Bible study at 9:00.
Our Daughters of the King chapter will meet a week early this month - on Monday afternoon, May 12th, at 1:30.
The Rev. Sally Boyd, our ministry developer, joins us on Thursday, May 22, at 5:30.  We will share a meal together, watch the next DVD on the Episcopal church, and worship together.
Steve Christy, our candidate for Holy Orders, is winding down his second year of studying through the Iona school, and he will be ordained as a transitional deacon on June 11th at the cathedral in Laramie.
